We create solid welded joints between the two materials, using the resistance spot welding machines with high pressure on small surface and high electric energy. The most important parameters in the resistance spot welding are the electric current, the resistance, the heat and pressure. In the resistance spot welding, both welding electrodes push the components towards each other. Subsequently, the machine turns on the welding to induce a contact resistance. This leads to thermoelectric heat, resulting in melt. The electrical current is turned off, the liquid material hardens and the welded joint is solid. When cooling the melt, pressure must be maintained to avoid the pores. We use the facilities with different parameters for resistance spot welding of wide-range materials. The thickness as well as the product shape complexity play a role in selecting individual machines. A variety of facilities, such as the model DALEX PL63 OHK, made by BEZ Bratislava BN 20.12, or the model DANUBIUS BP 90.22 meet demanding criteria and requirements for the resistance spot welding.
The Danubius spot welder is used to spot weld larger-sized parts that are made of black, stainless steel or galvanized sheet metal.
