Last week, we concluded not only with participation but also with a presentation at another important conference – "Ecosystems of the Future: Startups, Smart Cities, and Human Resources at the Heart of the Digital Economy." The international scientific conference took place on November 6-7, 2025 at the Faculty of Socio-Economic Relations of the Alexander Dubček University of Trenčín in Trenčín and attracted experts from several countries. Through this platform, scientists, representatives of state and local administration, entrepreneurs and experts from various segments were able to share their experiences, achievements and illustrative examples.

On behalf of our company KOVAL SYSTEMS, a. s., its HR Director – Ing. Zuzana Herková – spoke. For the other conference participants, she prepared a contribution on the current topic: “How to keep the best people in the digital age: practical retention strategies, benefits and motivation”. She discussed in detail the opportunities for employees and the challenges for employers themselves that the digital age brings. She also addressed the key factors on the basis of which employees decide to stay with a company or, conversely, to terminate their current employment.

We would like to express our gratitude for the opportunity to participate in this dynamic conference, for the pleasant and lively atmosphere, and for the chance to discuss with leading experts from various segments. We also thank our colleague, Ing. Zuzana Herková, for her professionally prepared and presented topic on the challenges that virtually every employer currently faces.
