The 11th edition of the well-known international trade fair
for defence and security technology - IDEB Defence & Security - ended
yesterday. The three-day event, which took place in Bratislava's Incheba Expo
Arena, provided an opportunity for the presentation of new products, systems,
equipment and services for defence, security and rescue forces. More than 100
companies from 12 countries presented themselves at the fair. Among them was
the Swedish company BAE Systems Hägglunds together with its Slovak partners,
including our company. The intention of this international cooperation is the
production and delivery of 152 pieces of tracked armoured combat vehicle
CV90MkIV for the Slovak Armed Forces.
On this occasion, a press briefing was also held at the
stand, which was dominated by the CV90120 light tank. Visitors could thus not
only learn about the progress made in the implementation of the project, but
also see a number of components from Slovak partners that will be part of the
CV90 vehicles. Our company presented the completed version of the modern
D-series turret, which will not only provide the vehicle crew with increased
protection, but also plenty of space and ergonomic improvements.
Ing. Ján Michálek, Business Director of KOVAL SYSTEMS, a.
s., in his speech thanked for the opportunity to cooperate on this important
and significant project. He also appreciated the quality cooperation with
renowned Slovak manufacturers in the defence industry, such as EVPÚ, Aliter
Technologies, RAY Service and ZTS - Special. "At the moment a massive
tech-transfer is being done, transfer of technologies, knowledge, information,
design documentation, patents, certificates, etc., so everything is really
going as it should," he said, describing the current situation in our
company.
