Our investment into complex automated systems created an increasing need to cut and process bar material and profiles of various shapes. It wouldn’t be possible to achieve maximum efficiency in material process, if we used standard plasma machines, band saws and machining centers. That's why we decided to purchase the solid-state laser TruLaser Tube 7000 fiber from TRUMPF.

It attracts your attention at first sight. With its size of 21.36 m x 6.4 m x 2.67 m, TruLaser Tube 7000 is one of the largest devices in our company. Its wide range of options and functions is even more impressive. You can process material with the length of up to 9.2 m, the outer diameter of up to 254 mm (tubes) and a wall thickness of up to 10 mm (mild steel). 

The universal cutting head can cut and process different types of materials with no need to change tools. The use of TruLaser Tube 7000 is widespread thanks to the bevel cuts up to 45°. It is an ideal option for conical holes. With RapidCut function, you can process materials in high feed rates, which is essential for our mass production. 

However, it can also be used efficiently in small-series and custom-made production. The Smart Profile Detection automatically detects the position and orientation of each semifinished product before it goes to self-centering collet chuck. After collecting all the information, it matches the accurate data with material, and it adapts the cutting program accordingly. Thanks to that fact, you can load the stack with various semi-finished products at the same time and process them with no need to interrupt the production process and rearrange the machine.

The TruLaser Tube 7000 fiber also offers other types of materials processing such as thermal drilling, screw-thread forming and spiral drilling. That way, you can use only one machine with maximum efficiency and minimum idle states instead of several machines such as lathes, drills, machining centers and single-purpose machines.
