The machine frame is robust. Dimensioned proportions ensure extreme stiffness and minimize frame deformations even at maximum load. The minimization of deformations in the machine frame is necessary to achieve equal and little tolerances in the straightening process, which eliminates the risk of metal fatigue of frame. Bearing frames are over-dimensioned, which minimizes the friction and the loss of torque in order to keep the long service life of the bearings and to avoid their expensive replacement.
The stable and high torque guarantees that the workpiece is straightened immediately in first operation. As the fluently adjustable high rotational speed of rolls shortens production times, it increases machine productivity.
