The OKUMA MCR-A5CII 30 high-speed double-column machining center enables us to efficiently mill oversized parts from 5 different sides. The bridged double-column structure with square, prismatic design has great rigidity to withstand axial, lateral, and torsional loads even when machining hard materials.
The X-axis reduces the weight of the table and workpieces with roller bearings, allowing parts with a maximum weight of up to 43 000 kg to be machined without reducing accuracy. The Y-axis receives
the cutting vibration and enables high-quality machining surface. The Z-axis
enables powerful cutting in the whole stroke area. The W-axis provides the
positioning of cross rail with NC control.
Many different processes can be performed continuously in auto operation with the auto tool changer (ATC) and auto attachment changer (AAC), greatly increasing productivity and efficiency of the entire machine.
