The WFC 10 CNC horizontal boring and milling machine made by FERMAT is a continuously managed machine with the cross-type modern design. It is an ideal and powerful solution that can be used for complete medium weight workpiece machining. The WFC 10 CNC offers 6 controlled axes, viz. the 4 linear axes (X, X, Z and W) and the 2 rotary axes (B and C). It can offer continuous machining in all axes simultaneously, i.e. simultaneous control in the X, Y, Z, and W axes, while the full servo rotary table allows continuous B-axis rotation (contouring).
During the machining, the machine moves the
workpiece on the conveyor belt in the longitudinal direction of the Z axis rack.
The workpiece moves on rotary table in transverse direction on the X-axis
workpiece and the spindle moves in the vertical direction on Y-axis. The Y-axis
ball screw (with 80-mm diameter), sturdy structure and the powerful spindle
guarantee the accuracy and robustness of the machine. The other parts, such as the
monitor and the systems for temperature stabilization, as well as the
backlash-free rotation of the table with highly precise positioning, make the
machine highly accurate.
