The WF 13 R CNC horizontal drilling machine made by FERMAT is a high-performance and modernly designed CNC controlled machine that offers precise and productive machining of large and heavy workpieces and parts. The various clamping options for workpieces, such as the clamping plate field, the CNC controlled rotary table, or their combination, provide actually unlimited possibilities for extra-large workpiece machining.
The WF 13 R CNC by FERMAT enables to control four linear axes (X, Y, Z and W) and a rotary axis - spindle positioning (C). It can continuously machine the parts in all X, Y, Z, or W axes at the same time. While machining, it moves on the sliding guide in the longitudinal direction of the Z axis holder, the workpiece rotates in the transverse direction on the X axis and the spindle moves vertically on the Y axis.
High-precision characteristics include a rigid frame, the powerful spindle, direct position measurement with the optoelectronic linear rulers, monitor and the systems for temperature stabilization, as well as the backlash-free rotation of the table.
The programmable robotic arm manipulator changes the tools from a large-capacity magazine containing up to 105 positions. The tools can be changed and put also into milling head even in its working position.
