EK 5730 - KONTEL USJ

The mobile universal storage unit (USJ) serves for the safe and convenient transport and storage of small-item cargo. Its structure maximizes the storage space in transportation vehicles (4 pieces of the mobile universal storage units can side by side fit into the vehicle). The size fits the EUR-pallet standard. Operation of the universal storage unit is easy and safe. 

The universal storage unit EK 5730 - KONTEL USJ stands on a wheel platform with 4 swivel castors or combined wheels, i.e.  2 swivel castors and 2 fixed wheels. They are mounted on ball bearings to ensure an easy operation. The ball bearings on which the wheels are put ensure their fluent motion during transport. 

The top part of their structure consists of fixed panel walls with a 3 by 3-cm perforation. There are two lockable wing doors on length’s side. Under the door there is the swing and fixed panels. The swing panel permits more comfortable access to shipments in case there is no more shipment on the top. From the top, the USJ is protected by a full sheet metal cover.

The unit is equipped with a harness mechanism thanks to which you can connect multiple containers in a chain. You can also connect containers from different producers if their mechanism is of the similar height.

Each KONTEL container includes an A5-format information tag insert, a descriptive board on which you can specify the goods (writing on it with chalk), the space for RFID tag and barcode.
