Stacker EK 7740 - LogiX is a modern and high-performance system for efficient storage and logistics in central hospital pharmacies. It enables automatic stocking up, unloading and safe storage of specialized medical equipment (SMEs), pharmaceuticals and other materials in standardized EURO crates. LogiX combines the advantages of standard storage in racks with the speed and efficiency of automatic warehouse equipment.
The stacker is made up of two parallel rack systems with stored EURO crates. In the aisle between them, a robotic manipulator with extendable arms moves along the guideways. It serves storage areas from the left and right side of the aisle at all height levels.
Based on the request from the system for material unloading, the manipulator moves to the corresponding storage position of the crate with the required material. With the help of the arms, it safely picks it up and transports it to the dispensing area. Subsequently, a system of elevators and conveyors moves it into the work area - directly to the hands of the operator. All automated parts of the device are precisely synchronized with each other. Acts follow each other smoothly, downtimes are reduced to a minimum. The result is a significant increase in the efficiency of the device. After the work is finished, the crate is taken from the work area by a system of conveyors and elevators back to the manipulator, which stores it back in its original position.
All operations take place within the stocking up and unloading work areas. Automatic search, stocking up, unloading and transportation of material eliminate the risk of occupational accidents when handling heavy and oversized packages. At the same time, the physical exhaustion and overwork of the staff is reduced.
User authorization is possible either with the help of a login name and password, or with the use of an RFID card. After inserting the card, all the contained data are processed and evaluated by the system software. Based on them, the authorized user is recognized, as well as the authorizations and limitations, if any, assigned to it. In this way, it is possible to determine for each employee which storage locations or specific pharmaceuticals and SMEs they will have access to and which they will not.

» additional conveyors and elevators: In order to facilitate subsequent logistics and material handling, it is possible to supplement the stacker with auxiliary conveyors and elevators already within the project, or later. In this way, it is possible to solve the transport of material within the division of the usable space of the structure and the connection of the extended parts with the central space of the pharmacy.
» storage crates: Standardized EURO crates with floor plan dimensions of 300 x 400 mm, 400 x 600 mm and 600 x 800 mm in different heights (H) are used to store pharmaceuticals and SMEs. The customer can choose individual variants and their numbers according to the turnover rate, quantity and dimensions of the stored packages when configuring the device.
» identification label printer: The printer is used to produce self-adhesive labels with a 2D identification code. This is then used to mark the stored material. The printer is connected to special software that allows you to generate unique codes for each material, edit its data, or complete the description with detailed information.
» scanner of 1D and 2D codes: Fast and accurate scanning and processing of all used codes from drug packaging and SMEs. The data is processed online in the system. Using the scanner, the system can not only identify each item, but also check and verify other information. At the same time, its use prevents errors caused by the human factor.
