Yesterday (July
2, 2025) a government meeting was held in the nearby district town of Púchov. Representatives
of individual Slovak ministries, headed by Prime Minister Robert Fico, met with
representatives of the surrounding towns and villages. The result of their meeting was the approval of
subsidies for various projects in the total amount of 2.1 million euros. The
meeting was also attended by the Minister of Defence of the Slovak Republic,
Robert Kaliňák, who visited our company together with Jaroslav Baška, Chairman
of the Trenčín Self-Governing Region.
The tour of the premises and individual departments was
accompanied by representatives of KOVAL SYSTEMS, a. s. In addition to the
continuously modernized and expanded machinery, the guests were most interested
in the progress of work within the CV90 project, on which we cooperate with
several arms companies from Slovakia and the renowned Swedish company BAE
SYSTEMS Hägglunds. The result of our joint efforts will be the production and
delivery of 152 armoured fighting vehicles for the Ministry of Defence of the
Slovak Republic.
Mr. Kaliňák appreciated the high-level cooperation and the
benefits of the entire contract not only for the region of Považie, but also
for Slovakia and its economy. He
also informs the public about his positive impressions from the visit to our
company through a video, which you can watch by clicking on this link.
We would like to thank Minister Robert Kaliňák and the Chairman
of the Trenčín Self-Governing Region Jaroslav Baška for a pleasant meeting and
appreciation of our efforts.
